LIFESTYLES AND AMENITIES
For the outdoor enthusiast Holden Beach, River Bluff Estates and the
South Brunswick Beaches offer pleasant weather year round, great fishing
12 months of the year, over 100 golf courses all within a 15 to 35 minute
drive, the lovely Shallotte River, and 5 beautiful white sandy beaches.
River Bluff Estates is covered in 300-year-old Live Oak Trees, Hardwoods,
Dogwoods, Maple, Birch, Holly and Pine Trees. Nature abounds, as well
as amenities such as a private boat launch, waterfront gazebo, nature
trails, and much much more.
There are things to do and places to see, but most of all there is the
saltwater.
Enjoy swimming, shelling, bird watching, crabbing, fishing, sailing, water
skiing, canoeing, or just enjoying some quiet easy time in your hammock
or rocking chair, while watching the Snowy White Egrets, Ibis and Great
Blue Herons feeding in late afternoon. Sunrise and Sunsets over the water
in River Bluff Estates are absolutely breathtaking.
The Shallotte River saltwater savanna and tidal marshes abound with nature.
You will get excited when you see a pod of playful porpoise swimming by
River Bluff. You will not be able to take your eyes off the graceful Ospreys
as they dive into the water and snare a big fish in their tylons to feast
on. You will have fun casting your net over large schools of bait fish
that swim by your dock, and delight when you pull up your crab trap full
of big delicious blue crabs. If you want fresh clam chowder for dinner,
just jump in your canoe or boat and go clamming for an hour. If you want
Flounder for dinner, catch a big one off your dock. If your lucky enough
to live in River Bluff Estates, you’re lucky enough.
Location couldn't be better. River Bluff Estates is 5 minutes from Holden
Beach, 20 minutes from Ocean Isle Beach and 30 minutes from Sunset Beach.
Airports are 45 minutes north and south, as River Bluff Estates is equidistant
from historic Wilmington, N.C. (45 minutes north), and the entertainment,
dining and golf capital of the world, Myrtle Beach, S.C. (45 minutes south).
